As a Boulder photographer and Denver photographer, I’ve had the privilege of documenting incredible moments, but one recent assignment stands out: working with Jeremy Bloom’s Wish of a Lifetime foundation. This heartfelt project granted a wish for a longtime CU Buffaloes season ticket holder who hadn’t set foot in Folsom Field in over 20 years. Witnessing Riley’s return to the stadium was a heartfelt reminder of the deep connections people have with sports—and the unique power of photography to preserve those emotions.
That day wasn’t just about a homecoming; it was a reflection of what makes the University of Colorado Buffaloes so special. The energy, tradition, and sheer spectacle of CU football have been reignited under the leadership of Coach Deion “Prime” Sanders, making this season a once-in-a-lifetime experience to document.
