I’ve been doing a lot of dating profile photos recently. Maybe it’s the pandemic or maybe it’s just the overall shift to online dating that has people wanting better photos, but it’s been a busy year! Natasha brought her friend Jess and we had a blast together. My favorite thing about photography is capturing people’s personality and smiles and we definitely captured that for Natasha. The more I do these types of photoshoots, the less interested I become in doing boring headshots for corporate offices. They just aren’t fun and people don’t want to let loose. It’s not my style. I think the most beautiful thing about a photograph is the person’s expression and I hate the forced smile and awkward poses.
