Okay so I’ve been working with Phil and Lauren for years. They originally hired me to photograph Juli Bauer of PaleOMG! They are her marketing team and they found me as a Denver Photographer to photograph her marketing material for her website and programs for sale. I need to do a blog post on that because we’ve got some amazing photos of Juli throughout the years. If you’re familiar with Juli on Instagram, chances are you’ve seen my photos. Phil and Lauren live in Canada but were in Denver for Juli’s baby shower and so of course they scheduled a photoshoot in Denver with me. This was my first time meeting them in person and it was awesome! We rented a house in Denver for the photoshoot... I was skeptical about the quality of light and the decor, but it ended up working out great!
Phil and Lauren, of Phil Pallen, specialize in personal branding and have been using my photography services for years for their Denver personal branding clients. So it’s not just Juli but many other clients as well. They love filler shots like hands on a keyboard, writing in journals, and capturing the overall vibe of the shoot. The place they rented didn’t have much of a vibe, but we made it work in the one corner of the house that looked nice :)
If you are looking for a personal branding photoshoot in Denver, I recommend renting a house through Airbnb or HomeStudioList that matches the vibe you are looking to achieve. Lighting is super important and it’s good to have quality natural light. Most homes don’t! Or atleast have it in the room that we would want to shoot in.
