I just wrapped up photographing a huge event in Denver for Banfield Pet Hospital! It was awesome and I absolutely loved being their Denver event photographer for this. Banfield was hosting their annual National Field Leaders Conference at the Colorado Convention Center and it was so much fun getting to be the Denver photographer for this event. This was such a high end, well produced event and they spared no expense. One of my favorite things about being a Denver event photographer is telling the story of events through beautiful imagery.

The event consisted of general sessions in the main conference hall, featuring guest speakers such as the President and other executives of Banfield, executives from its parent company Mars Veterinary, and even a guest speaker from the Mars Family, Justin White. The Mars family, the candy bar empire, owns Banfield and I got to meet Justin White, a Mars family member. It was awesome and his speech was super inspiring.

I absolutely loved photographing this event. It was a two day event and included an awards gala night where everyone was dressed up super fancy. And then of course the after party at the Hyatt Regency across the street. The event concluded at the Broncos stadium, where attendees got to walk out onto the field and take pictures with Miles the Mascot and then party in the United Club Level event space. It was kind of a bummer that it was freezing and snowing that night, otherwise being on the field would have been super cool.

I also had a blast interacting with the executives. The company wanted a lot of photos of them… candids, speaking, and engaging with people, etc. And I made sure I was capturing all of that! I think I got some really great shots of them all and I hope the photos make it look as fun as this event really was. The energy and vibe was awesome and I’m excited to work with Banfield and Mars again soon.
