One of my favorite occasions to photograph is graduation photos, particularly at the University of Colorado Boulder since it is my alma matter. The Flatirons provide a beautiful backdrop for a photoshoot and I love helping students commemorate this important milestone.
It was such a pleasure working with Dara and Dena in capturing their CU Boulder graduation photos. It was a gorgeous day at Chautauqua and they absolutely crushed this photoshoot. I grew up in the Boulder area and I went to school at CU Boulder and this view never gets old!! One of the best in the entire Denver Front Range area.
CHAUTAUQUA PARK
Chautauqua Park is a beloved Boulder landmark, known for its stunning natural beauty and rich cultural history and it is iconic for Boulder. The park continues to host a variety of events and activities, from outdoor concerts and festivals to hiking and picnicking. The park was founded in 1898 as part of the Chautauqua Movement, a popular adult education and cultural movement of the late 19th and early 20th centuries aimed at bringing education to rural parts of the country.
