I have been having a blast working with all these Compass real estate agents all over the Denver and Boulder area. Compass came into Colorado over the last few years and hired a ton of agents from other companies and they’ve been absolutely killing it. And part of their onboarding process is building up a solid library of images for marketing. This mostly consists of doing a realtor lifestyle photoshoot in Denver or Boulder. Typically, these photos get used in printed material as well as website and social media marketing. I have been listed as one of the preferred lifestyle Denver photographers with Compass for years now and have gotten to do some really fun photoshoots with them!
These are some of my favorite shoots to do because depending on the agent, we sometimes have incredible homes to use as our backdrop. This Boulder home was no exception! Andy and Catherine of the Burgess Group are founding agents of the Compass Boulder office and they always have beautiful and unique homes to use for these realtor lifestyle photoshoots. I’ve done several photoshoots with their team as well as individual agents and each one has been unique.
The Burgess Group has five agents but this particular lifestyle shoot was just Andy and Catherine. The home was incredible and unique and though it was very cool, it was actually not super easy to shoot in. Lighting was weird in spots and the layout was funky. The kitchen was tight and unusable for the shoot, although I wish I had gotten some photos of that! However, we got some awesome shots of the two of them and they had fun using these shots in their marketing photos.
