I had the pleasure of working with Kendall on her high school senior photos this past Spring. We chose Chautauqua which is a classic spot for all types of portrait photos! As a Denver photographer, it is one of my go-to choices for mountain photos near Denver.
Kendall absolutely crushed this shoot and I am blown away with how these turned out. The beauty of Chautauqua was on full display and we took full advantage of it! We had ideal weather for our photoshoot with blue skies and white puffy clouds. I’m writing this blog post in winter and this is making me excited for this Spring and Summer season of senior photos!

Senior photos in Denver are not what they used to be. Now, we can take more of a fashion or editorial style approach to senior photos and capture a little bit more of a vibe than your typical studio school photos. Kids are loving their ability to express themselves a little more and get more creative with their photos and I’m having a blast bringing their vision to life! Kendall brought the perfect outfits for her shoot and Chautauqua and mountain vibe was absolutely the right location for this.
Are you interested in doing Denver Senior photos at Chautauqua? Some things to note are that technically, you need a permit to shoot here. So this needs to be planned in advance. It can also be quite busy with other photoshoots going on so it might take some wandering around before we find a spot we love that is all ours. Parking at Chautauqua can be difficult but I like to park along Baseline Rd. and avoid the parking lot, which is usually full during the peak months.
