DENVER, CO | RiNO has been one of the best places to take senior pictures in Denver this year and for good reason! I love RiNo. There are so many historic buildings and awesome murals rich with color, texture and patterns and the 2019 Senior Class was loving RiNo! But don’t worry Class of 2020, these murals are always changing so there is bound to be some fresh artwork up for your senior photos in Denver. If you’re looking for good places to take senior pictures in Denver, RiNo is awesome and offers something for just about everyone.

Morgan absolutely crushed her session and we had a blast wandering around RiNo. She had a bit of an edge so the textures and grunginess of the area worked great for her, while still keeping it clean and timeless. During certain parts of the year there are sunflowers growing on one of the street blocks and we had a chance to make it look like Morgan was standing in a sunflower field. A nice way to mix up an urban photoshoot!

One thing I love about RiNo is that if you or your senior is a bit shy, there are plenty of places to get away from the crowds so that you feel comfortable during the photoshoot. And if your senior doesn’t want mom or dad standing around watching, there are plenty of nearby spots for the parents to hang out in while we do our session. The Denver Central Market offers great people watching and there are plenty of food and beverage options to enjoy while you wait. Or if you’d like a sit down restaurant, RiNo is home to some of Denver’s top restaurants including Work and Class, Los Chingones, Meadowlark, and many more.

WHAT TO EXPECT IN RINO

I usually begin most of my shoots meeting at the Denver Central Market as there are public restrooms to use for wardrobe changes and putting on those finishing touches. Parking is usually not too difficult but can be harder on weekend evenings. Street parking is free for two hours. And once our session starts, we usually head to the alleys were the murals are. There are great textures, colors, cool doors, chain link fences and more to add depth to your Denver senior photos.
